Dr. Fadzil Hanid

Ts. Dr. Mohd Fadzil Abdul Hanid is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His areas of expertise are in educational technology, with a particular focus on Extended Reality (XR) technologies including Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Virtual Reality (VR), immersive learning environments, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, and computational thinking. He is actively involved in research and postgraduate supervision in these emerging areas of digital pedagogy. In addition, he serves as the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for the Young Scientists Network – Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM), where he contributes to national-level strategies and policy initiatives that empower young researchers in science, technology, and innovation.
